How to Write With Confidence

Have you ever wondered why everyone in your class seems to come up with a good topic while you can't come up with anything? Or when your classmates are confident with their work and you're not? Here are some tips that can help you confidently:

 1. Brainstorm
Prepare the things you will need in your writing. Find a quiet place where you can relax, you may lie down, listen to your favorite music, dress up- the point is to RELAX for you to think of a topic that you want to write about. List down everything or anything that interests you.

2. To Be YOU is To Be UNIQUE
After deciding what you want to write about DON'T EVER THINK OF WRITING TO PLEASE EVERYONE. Write because YOU WANT TO and NOT because YOU OUGHT TO. Don't stress yourself writing for someone you want to please. Write what you want because you want it not because they want it besides, YOU are the writer NOT THEM so use your imagination and originality and never limit your capabilities to write what you want.

3. Take Your Time
Avoid distractions and never rush your writing. write everything that comes to your mind and never mind your misspelled words, wrong [punctuation marks and even if you're grammatically wrong, you can reread your work later and edit it to correct everything. Being sensitive about your spelling, punctuation, etc might become the reason for you to forget a wonderful idea that you failed to write in your work. take your time writing so that you could insert all your ideas in your work and still have time to proofread it.

4. Edit Your Work
As I've said in number 3, you can edit your work later and this is later. Edit everything from the misspelled words up to the grammar. If you want to revise or rephrase your sentences/paragraphs, then do it. NEVER FORGET TO USE A RED INK WHEN EDITING YOUR WORK so you can easily wee what you've changed.

5. Proofread Your Work

Reading your work and editing it is one thing but, having someone to read it is another thing. You see, having someone to read your work is like taking a caution before crossing the street- s/he might notice something that you haven't been able to notice, plus, the may have suggestions.

6. Submit Your Work
Submitting it one time or ahead of time helps you feel more confident because you know that you spent more time and attention to your work and it lessens your stress and anxiety in beating the deadline for another project, work, activity, etc.
(MAKE SURE TO REWRITE IT FIRST BEFORE SUBMITTING IT TO YOUR PROFESSOR)

The tips I gave you really works for me and so I do hope that it will work for you too. Good luck on your writing and have fun :)
